Joel took on the broken school board and
fought to
bring back
8th grade algebra.
He’s made the Sunset safer by putting beat patrols on Irving.

Joel created a popular night market with community partners, bringing thousands to the Sunset to support local businesses and prove what’s possible for night markets citywide.
Recalls should only be used
when an elected official has
committed serious wrongdoing,
not over a disagreement on a single issue.

We need Joel to keep the city moving forward.

A Message from Supervisor
Joel Engardio
San Francisco is finally heading in the right direction — and I’m proud to be part of that progress.
In 2022, voters elected me because they wanted results, not politics.

I stood with parents against an incompetent school board and helped restore Algebra in 8th grade. I secured beat patrols on Irving Street and throughout the Sunset to make our neighborhoods safer. And I launched the Sunset Night Market with community partners, drawing ten of thousands of people to support our local businesses.

Now, I’m working closely with Mayor Lurie to build on that momentum to create our best Sunset and San Francisco.

This recall isn’t about corruption, wrongdoing, or failing to do my job — it’s political vengeance over a single issue. We shouldn’t recall officials over one policy disagreement.

If this recall succeeds, we risk undoing real progress — and making it harder for elected officials to take tough votes in the future.

I listen. I lead with empathy. And I’m committed to serving every part of our district.

On September 16, vote No on A to stop the recall and keep San Francisco moving forward.
